Integrated test methodology " STEMTM " is a set of Technology, Process,
Metrics and Tool to minimize a business risk. It is the basic principle
of test strategy / test design and test implementation for guaranteeing
test quality. Its feature is as follows:
- The "orthogonal" principle
It focuses on the defect which should be detected and the optimal test be carried
out in the combination of three axes (Level, Technology, and Type)
- The "reductionist" principle
Required and the minimum test case are designed and in order to guarantee
the validity of a test, it comes out enough and a certain thing is proved
- The "quality growth" principle
Start test activity at an initial stage of development and make a
quality risk clear as early as possible and arrest defect through
a development process objectively
STAG also offers educational service for training test specialist
in India. IVSquare is going to promote education service by offering
an education curriculum on test technology in earnest in future for a Japanese company.
According to STAG Software - CEO: T Ashok
"Software testing as a specialized discipline is well recognized in India, US.
However, software testing is more than "just testing" for defects.
There is science and engineering of testing, that enables to engineer-in
quality by preventing and by early detection of defects. STEM™ a
formal body of distilled knowledge from STAG Software helps to build
excellent software and deliver business result to the company."
"We endorse UNISYS theme of "Clean Software" and are honored and
pleased to drive this initiative with IVSquare in Japan. We look
forward to a strong business partnership and expand our business
in Japan."
