IVSquare announced on 3rd September 2007 that it proposes to offer
a "Clean Software Development Approach (CSDA)" developed by an Indian
company STAG Software Private Limited, to Japanese IT industry. CSDA
is powered by "STEM" - STAG Test Engineering Method - a unique IP
from STAG Software that aims to enhance software quality from early
stage of software development.
According to IVSquare representative director Morihisa Tanizaki,
"CSDA can address both the incremental software development model
that is widely followed in Europe and America and waterfall model
predominantly used in Japan."
Mr. T.Ashok, Founder & CEO of STAG Software, explains, "CSDA helps
to discover defects in software early, improve software quality and
also reduces the development cycle." He says using STEM - a unique
test engineering method - in the requirement analysis phase enables
to analyze software attributes using techniques like state transition
and data model that are derived from the specification and validate
that no bugs creep in specification".
A major IT company in Japan is piloting the CSDA as part of their
quality initiative and the purpose of Mr. Ashok's visit to Japan
was to impart knowledge on this evolutionary method. STAG software
is also exploring opportunity to provide offshore test consulting
service to engineer-in quality in embedded software for another company.
