With the software development team already under tremendous pressure from meeting deadlines, software companies expect test engineers to be more independent and better prepared to undertake testing assignment. Knowing testing concepts is just not enough. Companies expect you to have exposure to the application environment, be familiar with programming concepts, databases etc. Be conversant with tools usage and be capable of supporting the development team by early participation with developers in test specification, execution and reporting needs. Though the demand for qualified test engineers is aplenty, the available talent falls short of industry expectations.

Backed by a wealth of experience working with our customers, we have put together a curriculum that specifically addresses the expectations of the market. In addition to laying a strong foundation in test engineering, the program helps you to understand the technology aspects of the application environment. This helps you to understand the application better and assess it in detail, thereby enabling you to plan, design and execute test cases effectively. Further, it helps in intelligent usage of appropriate tools. Finally, it makes you smarter in the eyes of the developer.


Objectives of the program

The program aims to prepare you as test practitioner who can plan, design, document, and execute tests independently and effectively. It helps in understanding test automation, use tools intelligently for efficient testing. Finally, the program boosts your confidence and helps you perform productively.

	Plan, design and execute effective test cases
	Be able to automate functional test cases

Methodology:
The program adopts our unique practitioner-oriented learning model that is consisting of a healthy balance of theory and practice.

Duration:
6 weeks - 5 days a week, 4 hours per day (Morning / Evening class)

Target audience:
Those working as testers with no formal training, those aspiring to be software test engineers. Candidates with a first class degree in engineering or post graduation are preferred.

Our placement cell guarantees job to all participants who meet the merit criteria. We have placement tie-ups with IT companies who seek to recruit STAG trained test engineers on regular basis.
